“Dr. Dale’s” Beachbody Coaching Portal

Beachbody has taught me how to eat healthy--you’d think medical school would have taught me something about this.  Not!  The workout programs are efficient and time-saving because there is no drive to a gym.  It’s also less expensive than most other alternatives.  These unique fitness and nutritional products have helped change me and thousands of others into happier, more energetic and confident people.  But Beachbody is much more than just a fitness/supplement program or diet.  Beachbody is also a lifestyle and community of thousands of like-minded people that help each other succeed and have fun in the process.  You are not on your own!  You have a coach and online friends to help you along the way.  I have made many lifelong friends over the past 5 years because of my involvement with Beachbody.  I’m really excited about my success and love to help others achieve their success too through coaching.

You can’t put a price on good health.  If we had all the wealth and good things in this world except for good health and fitness, life would still not be that great.  It’s terrible to see the increasing obesity epidemic and its associated diseases of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and accelerated arthritis.  Just the lack of energy and mobility that occurs from being overweight is a problem!  And then top all of that off with the generally lower self-esteem that most overweight people have.  I treat people in the ER every day with these problems.  I prefer to attack these problems at the root by showing people how to eat right and get their bodies in motion.  Beachbody has products for everyone at different levels of health and fitness.  If you plug yourself into any of them, amazing physical changes will start to occur in just a few weeks.  90 days is really not a lot of time and yet I was able to achieve great changes in that short period.  With consistent effort, you can turn back the clock and feel and look younger and more energetic.   I’m nothing special.  I don’t have any gift or genetics that allowed me to have my success.  I just followed the program consistently.  If I can do this, you can too!

Dale Christensen, MD

Independent Beachbody Coach

In November 2003 at age 38, I made a decision and commitment that changed all of that.  I had hit my highest weight ever and was “rock-bottom” disgusted with myself.  I bought a Beachbody in-home video workout program called Power 90 from a late night TV infomercial.  I committed myself to work out 6 days a week, eat right (the program shows you how), and use some Beachbody supplements.  Result:  In 90 days I lost 25 lbs and transformed my body, confidence, health, and fitness, and jump-started a healthy lifestyle that has kept me fit now over 5 years later.  After finishing Power 90, I bought P90X (Power 90 “Extreme”) and took my fitness to the next level.  I got a six-pack for the first time in my life!  I am no longer embarrassed to put on a swimsuit and I can do things physically that I had never done before.  My energy levels are high.

Hi!  My name is Dale Christensen and I’m an independent Beachbody Coach and ER physician.  I’d like to share my transformation experience as a customer of Beachbody’s programs and nutritional products.

I have not always been fit.  I was in the “overweight” category of most charts for about 15 years of my young adult life.  When I started medical school in 1990, I became less active and made poor food choices and often over-ate because it was a comfort to help relieve the stress of school and work.  At 30 lbs. overweight, I was embarrassed about my appearance and became increasingly more tired and fatigued.  I wasn’t the good example of health a doctor should be either.  I wore baggy clothes to hide the fat and felt really uncomfortable in a swimsuit.   The picture to the right  is what I looked like for a good part of those 15 years.

1996

I tried to lose weight by running/jogging and setting up my own weight training programs.  A couple of times I lost some weight, but it always came back.  Joining and driving to a gym was too much of a hassle and, for many years, not even affordable.  I continued to eat too much and too many of the wrong foods.  Nothing “stuck” because I never made any true lifestyle changes and habits in my fitness and eating routine.
